Why did you develop this skillset? Was it to help advance cutting edge science to help cancer patients?

We are working with a Guildford-based biotech specialising in developing the next generation of cancer diagnostics. Their technology can diagnose metastatic cancer from a single blood sample by targeting circulating tumour cells. As they continue to develop new molecular (including NGS) and cell based (imaging) techniques for diagnosing metastatic cancer, they have opened a new position as Clinical Data Analyst to support their data-driven R&D and analyse patient samples.

This will be a vital role for the biotech’s future development of clinical diagnostics, making an important impact on projects from early R&D to clinical trials and development.
